Fire Performance Classifications
According to EN 13501-2 the fire resistant performance is expressed by letters, referring to the functional requirement, and numbers, referring to the performance time in minutes
Eg. EI30 means 30 minutes integrity and 30 minutes insulation

Class E INTEGRITY
Physical barrier – no flames or hot gases on the unexposed side of the glazing

Class EW RADIATION
As class E above plus the radiated heat level in front of the glazing may not exceed 15 kW/m2

Class EI INSULATION
Heat shielding function. Temperatures on the unexposed side of the glazing may not exceed an average of 140°C
Impact Safety
In addition to fire protection INTERFLAM® and INTERFIRE® are toughened safety glass products which more than meet the demands of European EN12150 and other national safety standards
